However, you may not want to grant everyone in your content team admin capabilities. And you don&#8217;t need to! Once you&#8217;ve set-up Global Content, you can benefit from its features without being and admin. <\/p>\n<p>Tasks for which you need to be an admin:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connecting different sites or installations with each other<\/li>\n<li>Importing Global Content on a site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tasks that do <u>not<\/u> require admin capabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making content global<\/li>\n<li>Publishing new posts within a global post type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let us give you an example: If you (=the admin) make a post type including its posts global and import it on another site, anyone (=non-admins) can publish new posts that will then automatically be synchronized on all connected sites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global Content usually requires you to be an admin.
